Terms and Conditions

All reservations at Maple Paws Retreat require an advanced booking. A non-refundable deposit of 30% of the total estimated invoice is required to secure your suite during peak seasons and holidays.

• Standard Cancellations: We require at least 48 hours notice for standard boarding cancellations. Failure to provide this notice will result in a charge equivalent to one night's boarding.
• Holiday Cancellations: During federally recognized Canadian holidays, we require a minimum of 7 days cancellation notice. Deposits for holiday bookings are strictly non-refundable.
• Early Pick-ups: If you choose to pick up your pet earlier than the scheduled departure date, you remain responsible for the full cost of the originally reserved dates.

The health and safety of all dogs at our woodland resort is our primary concern. Prior to any dog entering our Kelowna facility, owners must provide verified medical records from a licensed veterinarian.

Required vaccinations include Rabies, Distemper/Parvovirus (DHPP), and Bordetella (Kennel Cough). The Bordetella vaccine must be administered at least 14 days prior to check-in. All guests must also be on an active, veterinarian-approved flea and tick prevention program.

Maple Paws Retreat reserves the right to refuse admittance to any pet that shows signs of contagious illness or parasites upon arrival.

All dogs participating in group playtime are carefully evaluated for temperament. Owners must disclose any history of aggression, biting, or extreme anxiety. We reserve the right to remove any dog from group play and switch them to a private playtime schedule if they exhibit disruptive or aggressive behavior.

Intact males over the age of 8 months and females in heat cannot participate in communal play programs and must be booked into our private suite care program.

While we maintain the highest standard of premium care and supervision, animals are unpredictable. By boarding your pet, you acknowledge and accept the inherent risks of a multi-dog environment, including minor scrapes or illnesses.

In the event of a medical emergency, Maple Paws Retreat will attempt to contact the owner and the emergency contact provided. If we are unable to reach you, we will seek immediate care at the nearest available veterinary clinic in Kelowna. The owner agrees to assume full financial responsibility for any veterinary expenses incurred during their pet's stay.
